Iran continues petrochemical exports to European countries

» سرویس: Economy - Macroeconomy

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran dismissed reports that it has halted exports of petrochemical products to the European countries.

Iran continues to export petrochemical products to the EU countries despite the sanctions and it has many potential customers to replace with the existing countries if needed, the deputy oil minister Gholam Hussein Baiat told ISNA on Monday.

Iran enjoys large-scale petrochemical exports and its priority is selling to massive populations rather than a few millions, he added.

The volume of demand for Iran's petrochemical products is twice the volume it can supply and the difference will decrease in the future with operation of new petrochemical complexes across the country, he said.
