Iran offers three-phase approach in Moscow talks

» سرویس: Politics - Nuclear and Energy

TEHRAN (ISNA)-A source close to Iranian negotiating team said the country has proposed a three-step approach during talks with the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany in Moscow.

The diplomat, a member of the Iranian delegation, said P5+1 would face a coherent approach by Iran during Moscow talks.

He said the approach criticizes the group over its refusal to hold talks between deputies of Iranian Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili, EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton.

The Iranian team believes that the preparatory talks could be helpful for success and progress of Moscow talks.

The second phase of Iran's offer reiterated that Iran has entered into serious talks on the P5+1's intended issues. Iran has prepared clear, logical and NPT-based response for the group's offers and demands and will explain them to the six countries in detail.

The third step reiterated that Iran will hand its 5 suggestions to the group again.

"We explain our suggestions in details and we hope P5+1 will abide by its commitments for serious talks on these issues."
