Iranian sports official to join ANOC meeting in Moscow

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian Minister of Youth and Sports Mohammad Abbasi, as well as the Head and Secretary General of National Olympic Committee Mohammad Ali-Abadi and Bahram Afshar-Zadeh will visit Moscow to join the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) meeting.

Ali-Abadi and Afshar-Zadeh will leave for Moscow Tuesday.

Also a two-day meeting is scheduled for April 16-17 in Moscow which is to be attended by sports ministers of different countries.

Abbasi will leave for Moscow on April 15 and goes home on April 18. ANOC meeting is to be chaired by Qatari Olympic Committee President Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani. He is to assume presidency of National Olympic Committees Association.
