TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran’s Foreign Ministry summoned ambassadors of European countries to criticize their stances on June 12 presidential ballot of the country.
Ambassadors of Britain, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands and Czech Charge d'Affair as EU rotating presidency representative in Tehran went to the Foreign Ministry to hear Iran’s condemnation of their “interventionist and impudent” stances and remarks regarding Iranian elections, the ministry said.
The Ministry denounced interference of foreign states in the country’s interior affairs saying their approaches were ill-intentioned.
The era when certain western countries could dominate destiny of nations by their intervention and support for a particular party is over and it is time for nations’ awareness and resistance against powers colonialism, it was asserted at separate meetings.
The Foreign Ministry also demanded that the ambassadors inform their senior officials about Iran’s severe condemnation of their unacceptable stances and interventionist policies.
Neither the European Union nor any country is in a position to be allowed to express impudent and interventionist remarks against Iran and particularly its glorious and popular elections, it added.
